Bullous Pemphigoid

Abstract
Bulloas pemphigoid is a chronic, relatively benign, and self-limited disease usually of the elderly patient characterized by subepidermal, large, and tense bullae. The groins, the axillae, ani the flexor surfaces of the forearms are the common predilection sites of bullae. Its pathogenesis is not known exactly yet, but currently regarded as an autoimmune disorder likewise pemphigus vulgaris.
Recently, we experienced 3 cases of bullous pemphigoid: one, 35-year old man which skin lesions developed on the face, scalp, chest and back: the other, 68-year old woman on the oral mucosa, eyelid, both axillae, arm, labia, and trunk: the another, 47-year old woman diffusely on the back and buttock.
